Proper reconstitution takes under five minutes and determines the stability and safety of every dose that follows.
Wipe both vial stoppers with an alcohol swab and allow to air dry.
Draw the required volume of bacteriostatic water using a sterile draw tool.
Insert into the peptide vial. Release water slowly along the inside wall — never directly onto the powder.
Gently swirl the vial until the powder dissolves completely. Never shake.
Label with the date and working concentration. Refrigerate immediately at 2–8°C.
why it matters
Bacteriostatic water is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol. It is the pharmaceutical standard for reconstituting lyophilized peptides because benzyl alcohol inhibits bacterial growth — keeping your reconstituted solution viable and safe for up to 28 days when refrigerated.
Why not sterile water? Sterile water lacks a preservative. Without benzyl alcohol, a reconstituted peptide vial is vulnerable to bacterial contamination after the first draw and must be used immediately. For multi-dose protocols that span days or weeks, bacteriostatic water is the only appropriate diluent.
Storage. Keep unopened bacteriostatic water at room temperature away from direct light. Once a peptide has been reconstituted, refrigerate immediately at 2–8°C and never freeze. Label every vial with the reconstitution date and calculated concentration.

Peptides can be powerful. That's why responsible use starts with the right information.
Only use peptides from reputable suppliers who provide third-party certificates of analysis. Verify 99%+ purity and the absence of contaminants. Your health depends on what's in the vial.
Always use sterile, single-use equipment and alcohol swabs. Clean vial stoppers before each draw. Never share needles or vials. Proper technique prevents infection and contamination.
Consult a healthcare provider before starting any protocol. Regular bloodwork monitoring is essential. Report unusual side effects immediately. This is your health — treat it seriously.
